Finance Manager
PE-Backed Consumer Business | Central London
We’re recruiting on behalf of a dynamic, high growth private equity backed business based in Central London. With an ambitious growth agenda and a collaborative culture, the company is scaling rapidly and now looking to strengthen its finance function with the addition of a commercially minded and technically astute Finance Manager.
What you’ll be doing:
As Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and take a leading role in the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a broad and hands-on position, covering everything from financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting to cashflow management and maintaining robust financial controls. You’ll also provide commercial insight and partner with operational teams to help drive informed decision making.

What we need you to bring to the business:
- Fully or part-qualified (ACCA / ACA), ideally with a background in practice
- Previous experience in a similar finance role within a fast paced, high growth or PE-backed business
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and core financial reporting standards
- Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with cloud based systems (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with non finance stakeholders
- Experience managing or mentoring small finance teams
- Comfortable working in a hybrid set-up (2-3 days per week in the office - London)
