An industry leading manufacturer based near Chichester, is looking for an ambitious Sales Coordinator.
The successful Sales Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring sales growth and meeting targets, by encouraging new sales opportunities and maintaining and improving relationships with all customers by providing a first-class service. Additionally, you will ensure the company obtains as many orders as possible by handling incoming orders efficiently and profitably.
Sales Coordinator Key Responsibilities include:
- To ensure all customers receive a first-class service, delivered in a professional and timely manner.
- To liaise with customers and manufacturing departments ensuring a rapid problem-solving service is maintained and any issues are resolved promptly.
- To ensure that all enquiries are received and dealt with quickly and directed to estimating regularly to ensure that quotations are issued within 2 weeks of receipt.
- To answer customer progress queries, highlighting any problems and dealing with them accordingly to resolve the issue.
- To liaise with the manufacturing departments.
- To ensure the processing of customer orders/ schedules/ invoices are dealt with within 7 working days, and that any issues are escalated/ resolved as needed.
- To prepare and provide all relevant statistics including forecasts, customer country and value analyses, enquiry and quotation reports, and prices lists.
- To liaise with the local HM Customs & Excise office, ensuring the classification and documentation requirements are prepared correctly for exportation of goods.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree educated
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills - able to build rapport with clients and negotiate effectively
- Experience in a sales and target-focussed environment
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise your own workload
- Demonstrable experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment - advantageous
- Experience of SAGE systems - advantageous
