Senior Property Accountant - Property Management
London (Office based 4 days/week)

A leading name in the property and facilities management sector is seeking a Senior Property Accountant. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting knowledge, extensive property sector experience, and the ability to manage a high value client portfolio with confidence and professionalism.
Reporting into the CFO, you’ll take ownership of all financial aspects relating to a range of commercial or residential properties - managing a small team while supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients with timely and accurate reporting.
Role Overview:
- Full ownership of service charge budgets, reconciliations, and rent accounting
- Produce timely and accurate financial and management reports
- Act as the finance point of contact for property managers, clients, and auditors
- Lead and support a small team of client accountants
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, lease terms, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
Key Requirements:
- Part or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- Proven experience in property or client accounting
- Strong understanding of service charge accounting and property reporting
- Proficient in systems like MRI, Qube, Horizon, or similar
- Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
